5-Step Standard Export Packaging Protocol
Each shipment follows a disciplined, 5-stage preservation workflow to ensure industrial valves arrive at overseas project sites in factory-tested condition.
Cavity De-Watering & Transit Positioning
Post-Hydro Drainage & Seat Seal Protection
After hydrostatic testing, all internal cavities are thoroughly drained with compressed hot air. Valves are set into their engineered transit positions: Ball valves 100% Fully Open to prevent seat ring deformation; Gate/Globe valves 100% Fully Closed to protect stem threads; Butterfly valves closed with disc relaxed (or metal-seated closed).
Flange Face Preservation & Heavy End Caps
Ra 3.2–6.3µm Serration Shielding
Machined flange raised faces and RTJ grooves are coated with high-tack rust-preventative grease or peelable protective varnish. Heavy-duty UV-stabilized plastic end caps with retaining lugs are fitted (≤24"), or bolted multilayer plywood blind covers with full-circle neoprene gaskets are attached (≥24" & high-pressure RTJ).
Desiccant Insertion & Sealed VCI Moisture Barrier
Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (VCI) Shield
High-capacity active silica gel desiccant bags are placed inside the flow bore (with external pull-tags). The entire valve assembly is heat-sealed or securely taped within heavy-duty (≥150µm) VCI vapor-corrosion inhibiting film, forming an electrochemical barrier against humid sea air and maritime salt spray.
ISPM 15 Timber Bracing & Structural Crating
Inertial Immobilization & Heavy Skids
Valves are anchored onto custom-contoured wooden saddles and blocked with timber wedges bolted directly to base skids. Heavy-bore valves are secured with rubber-sleeved steel U-bolts to prevent shifting under ship roll/pitch. Crates use ISPM 15 stamped heat-treated solid wood or multilayer plywood with steel perimeter strapping.

Crate exteriors are stenciled with waterproof ink showing ISO 780 handling symbols (Center of Gravity, Sling Points, Keep Dry, Fragile, Top Side), PO Number, Gross/Net Weight, and Crate Number. One waterproof document envelope is packed inside with the valve, and an identical weather-sealed pouch is riveted to the exterior wall.
