Gate Valves Engineering Guide
Gate Valves are selected for pipeline isolation, power generation, water treatment and process lines where low pressure loss in the fully open position is important. The correct configuration depends on pressure class, temperature, media, materials, end connection and inspection requirements. Choose wedge, slab, knife or pressure-seal designs by media, pressure-temperature rating, stem arrangement, end connection and required shutoff duty.
